Structure and Voting rights

The Executive Committee consists of the seven (7) elected Members and the three (3) appointed Members at Large. These 10 members have voting rights at Executive Committee meetings.

(3) Appointed Members at Large (MAL)

LCRC’s By-Laws permit the Chairman / Executive Committee to appoint three (3) Members at Large (MAL) and their term is the same two (2) years as the elected Officers until the next biennial election in January 2012.

     LCRC Standing Sub-Committees:

  • The Executive Committee has seven (7) Standing Sub-Committees (SC) headed by a Chairperson SCC with the objective of leading and managing specific LCRC activities and to create a fertile growing ground for the next generation of LCR Executive Committee members. 
    •  
    A number of active LCRC Members have been recruited to Chair these new Sub-Committees (SCC)

  • Sub-Committee (SC) Chairs will be expected to report and up-date members during regular LCRC Monthly Meetings.

  • SC Chairs can request an opportunity to make presentation to the Executive Committee (EC) on key SC issues. The EC will consider all requests and decide which issues will be added to the EC agenda. In those cases, the SC Chair will be invited to the EC meeting for the presentation and then leave the EC meeting.

  • According to LCRC By-Laws SC Chairs can not be  part of the EC and have no EC voting rights.
